Frequently asked questions
When should I order my wedding dress?
We recommend that you begin your search 6 months prior to your wedding. Dresses are made to order, and can take up to 5 to 7 months to produce.
But if need be, we can rush an order for an additional fee.
On top of those shipping time frames, you must also account for alteration time.
We also carry a limited selection of ready to purchase off the rack gowns and in (sizes 0-8) for our brides who can't wait that long. Be sure to check with us before booking an appointment for our off the rack selection.
Will I need alterations?
Every bride needs nips and tucks! When ordering, we will guide you through choosing a size that’s closest to you – setting you up for the best starting point possible for alterations.
When I get my dress?
The designers always ensure us that they are working to meet the date range we quoted you. We will send you an email with the confirmation that your dress has arrived.
What happens after I find the dress?
After you find your perfect dress, we will take your measurements ( we will drive to your house 50 miles radius from the city of Chicago) and order your dress as close as possible to your current size.
How long will take my made-to-order gown to arrive?
Depending on the designer you move forward with, there is a 4-8 month lead time for all made-to-order gowns. We have some very select styles that can be made in less time, so if you're in a time crunch, email for more info: email@example.com Rush orders are available upon request, but keep in mind that fees will apply.
